Abyss

In every world there is some mention of a manifestation of Death its self. Be it a god or goddess, tales of a mysterious being, or beliefs in some entity that collects souls of those who pass on. She is one such being. The first being with a soul to die, and as such, granted a unique power to guide and gather those who pass on. A goddess who knows death, and became it. Some say her lack of a face is a remnant of her fate before gaining her abilities.

She is very gentle and almost mothering, taking spirits under her wing to guide them into their next stage, be it their respective afterlife, or a new life altogether.
