Background:

Before B.O.S.S.
X was an orphan and although he was never adopted, he was pretty content in the orphanage
X in high school, he became best friends with a Special without knowing he had bad intentions
X that Special has the ability of mind control/illusions(not sure yet but anything that inflicts mental harm :U) and started tricking Shen into doing his dirty work and hiding/protecting him when he's in trouble with BOSS
X however, although how hard or suspicious the Special's favours are, Shen still believed and trusted him wholeheartedly, and even treated him like the family he never had
X one day the Special called him out to meet, and turns out the Special accidentally killed a police civilian(?) and needed help to hide him before BOSS found out
X Shen was conflicted on what to do, he knew what the Special did was wrong but he didn't his friend to be killed, but BOSS came before he could decide
X the Special used him as a hostage and threatened to kill him if BOSS didn't let him escape, he used his ability on Shen (that mental harm shiz) and BOSS had to let him go in order to save Shen
X he woke up in the hospital the next day and could not contact the Special at all
X angry as well as hurt that he was deceived and betrayed by the only person he trusted and thought of as family, not to mention his life was threatened, he went to apply for BOSS right after he graduated high school

After B.O.S.S
X the betrayal struck him bad lmao, and drove him kinda crazy but it gave him the will to become top of his batch
X through all the missions and Special attacks he started to experience as an agent, he gained a deeper hatred for Specials
X eventually he managed to climb his way up the ranks with his skill, and at the subtle age of 22 he acquired the position of Assistant Chief
