Chevron is a mouse deer, also known as the "chevrotain." His eyes are an unnatural bright teal, and his fur is faded brown with cream spotting. He carries a branch with him at all times when outside of his home, using it to ward demons or whack people. The branch also functions as a paintbrush when he is applying body paint. His main accessories are bright teal feathers that he gathers and dyes himself. Chevron is a superstitious and cautious individual. His main skills are in foraging and herbal knowledge. He prefers the safety of his home and dislikes a great variety of things, especially demons. Rarely, he does leave his home to gather food and herbs. Chevron is the local shaman and medic. Most of the residents of the town he dwells near, Quarter-Moon Hill, go to him when in need of medicine or treatment. 

He's well aware of several other healers in the surrounding area, and sometimes sends them letters to give them advice. Even if he hasn't met them much, he can tell from the whispering of the wind when they need his help.
