extra info: caitlyn excels in ranged attacks, but has lower accuracy. she is balanced between melee and magic power though heavily prefers melee fighting than magic. she has a very reckless style of combat proving that she has not truly been trained in an actual fighting style. her gun only allows for one shot at a time and cannot be fired in rapid succession like others can be making aim very important for her. her persona, yuki-onna is based on the yokai spirit with said name in japanese folklore, despite having no connections to japan other than it being her current residence. yuki-onna is an ice based persona and is heavily magic based rather than physical. she also gains several debuffing and buffing moves allowing caitlyn to be quite versatile in the way she fights. her ties to yuki-onna actually are relatively odd as persona's are supposed to be a manifestation of ones heart. the bond that her and her persona share stems from ice. being from canada, that is where the connection of cold and ice is made. the other connection between them is caitlyn's desire to fit in among the japanese culture she is surrounded by thus the traditional appearance her persona has. her phantom thief outfit on the other hand has clear reasons for being what it is despite it being odd attire for a thief. given her ties to the sport of hockey, caitlyn's views of a "hero" are tied to looking up to hockey players as her idols growing up. her outfit may stand out alongside the others, but she does not mind one bit. she feels it it very suited for someone like herself.
personality
caitlyn is a bit rough around the edges with her never die kind of personality. she is competitive, athletic and proud at first, but that covers a much softer side of herself. under her outward mask, is a bit on the soft side and a bit of a pushover at times. even though she doesn't seem it, she is shy at first, but is relatively quick to opening up once she feels comfortable around others. most would coin her as the intimidating type at first which she hates and feels as if such a stigma misguides others of who she really is. while she often wears a rather stoic look upon her face in passing, she can often be found with a smile upon her face though it is hard to tell exactly what kind of smile it may be. caitlyn does struggle to fit in among others, especially ever since she has moved to japan thus making her a loner of sorts. as such she tends to keep to herself unless approached first and often is not the one to make a first move unless she strongly feels the need to do so. although being more of the jock type, she does go against the stereotype of being unintelligent. she may not be the top, but she is certainly above average in terms of intelligence. despite this, she still is quite reckless at times and doesn't put much thought into some of her actions. she strongly believes in following her heart and is extremely passionate. this is what has allowed her to become a persona user. her desire to fight against those who stand in her path and try to put her down fuels her drive to pave her own path in life and show that she isn't one to be put down. of course it isn't only for her own good though. she hates to see others being put down as well thus proving that she does care deeply for those around her and hinting that she has a kind heart. she wishes to be there for others given that others haven't always been there for her. those she is close with she considers a team and treats them as reliable allies and friends. she jokes and loves laughing with those she feels comfortable and even can be overly talkative as well. she may seem a bit rude to her friends given her playful jokes, but she means no harm by them and if she senses they have upset someone, she is quick to apologize. she does have a habit of saying sorry far too much given her rather forgiving nature.
