Design Notes
- They were born without hind legs, instead having a pair of large fins in their place. They're able to get around fine on land for the most part but prefer to stay underwater.
Very quiet and introverted. Loves to learn new things and is very knowledgeable in many areas. Total nerd; practically lives in the local library.
One of two princets of the StreamWing kingdom. They are very dedicated to the history of their kingdom and want to help document it/dream of being a historian.
Skillset
- Writing Proficiency: One hobby Voyage is particularly fond of is reading and writing. They take particular interest in nonfiction, especially that which pertains to the history of their kingdom, and hope to help rebuild as much of what has been lost as they can in their lifetime. They are exceptionally well-versed in the dead language Plutellan dragons once spoke and are one of very few currently alive on the continent who are capable of translating it.
Natural Abilities
- Aquatic Respiration: Voyage has the ability to breathe underwater due to the gills they possess. Their webbed talons, sail, and powerful tail make them an especially good swimmer. However, they cannot dive too deep, and usually stick to coral reefs and other shallow areas of the ocean while underwater.
- Aquatic Vision: Voyage has an extra transparent set of eyelids that they shut while swimming, providing them specialized vision while underwater. Unlike SeaWings, they do not have the ability to see well in the dark.
- Echolocation: In addition to their specialized aquatic vision, Voyage can use echolocation to find their way while underwater. They often use this ability while swimming at night or in dark, unlit areas due to their lack of night vision, and are additionally able to use it in conjunction with Whistle/Signal to communicate over long distances underwater.
