Appearance: Tall and muscly, this colourful gem towers. Her hair is fluffy and her bangs never stay tucked where she puts them. She wears a gold circlet with bangs over the top on the right side and a special cream visor. Her dominant hand is covered by a loose sleeve so she has a place to sta.sh daggers and such in case of emergencies and she wears a metal bracer on her left arm. Her top is form fitting and held up by thick gold straps, she has a re-enforced cincher to help her posture when she's standing at attention for long periods of time, and shorts to allow for easy movement. She wears knee-high boots that have magnets on the soles (see weapons for why). She wears a transparent overskirt and a light cloak for the ~aesthetics~ but these are detatchable from buttons on the front and back.
Weapon: Their weapon is technically three but officially they only have two weapons. The first weapon is their visor that allows them to see out but not others to see next. Since they're ALWAYS wearing the visor, other gems don't know that it's actually a weapon. The second weapon is the before-mentioned floating disc that can let them fly, hover, and dodge beyond their natural abilities. The design flaw has been fixed and her shoes have magnets that attached to special sections of the disc (this will be shown on the application). The third weapon is a large broadsword that requires both hands to hold.
Unique Abilities: Harle is a b e a s t on the battlefield, and thanks to (Sammy's) curiosity, I can accurately say that she can withstand 2000 PSI (150 tonnes of crushing force or enough to crush a car) without poofing.
Synchronizing Style/Fusion Dance: THIS TANGO. It's sensual. It's athletic. It's physically demanding. PERF.
Special Power: A surprisingly good dancer. Moonlights as a teacher in her spare time to teach sword skills.

Personality: Harlequin is a bit of a strange gem, most of the time she's stoic and laconic with a one-track mind. She's an aboslute perfectionist and has a bit of a temper on her (and by a bit, I mean a lot). She's curiously to her own detriment sometimes and interjects in random conversations. She can swing between being an absolute diva to a calm and subsurvient column depending on who is in control.

Brief History/Backstory: Harle's story is actually the story of Rowena and Sammy (who won't appear in the court). A long time ago, Sammy was an experimental scientist on Homeworld who worked with fusions, force-fusions, and gem shards. At first, she was excited to work on gem experiments and didn't realise the horrific nature of what she did to her fellow gem. Over time, she began to become curious about what fusion felt if it was 100% consensual instead of forced as forced fusions were either unstable/otherwise horrible for all parties involved. When news came of Canon!Garnet, Sammy was inspired to experiment herself, but because she was still on homeworld, she only dared to do it in private with some pearls that she threatened into silence. Meanwhile Rowena was a non-important member of Blue Diamond's armed forces and occasionally saw/worked together wtih Sammy but never as equals (a.k.a an assigned guard.) Rowena developed quite a crush on the eccentric scientist and often snuck past Sammy's own guards to watch her work. It was a dream come true when she was eventually assigned to protect Sammy on Earth whilst they were there to do some experiments. 

When Sammy came to Rowena in the aftermath of Canon!Garnet's fusion and tried to convince Rowena to fuse with her. Rowena was overjoyed and when they fused for the first time, they found that they were actually a stable fusion. Sammy then ran a bunch of experiments which lead to her being poofed twice (accident with a hydraulic press and with her own weapon prototype). Somewhere along the line, Sammy realized how safe and complete the fusion felt like. With her love was finally reciprocated, Rowena made a promise to herself to always protect her Sunny from the dark forces in the world.  Soon after, Sammy defected from YD's court after being no longer able to force fusions when she knew what good fusion meant. When Sammy decided to defect from homeworld, Rowena followed her and they eventually decided it was easier to escape detection by being a permafusion.  Sammy tries to convince herself sometimes that being a permafusion is an experiment for the sake of "scientific research" when really she's in love with her stoic guard. Unfortunately for them, Canary Diamond's court doesn't look upon permafusions well so they work hard to keep it a tip top secret. Even though Sammy is the more dominant one in the fusion, Rowena's natural inclination towards guard work shines through.

Being Harle has mellowed out Sammy a lot but the stress of keeping such a big secret and screening everything they do and say sometimes overwhelms Sammy. In these times, Rowena will take the helm and have a "quiet day". This allows Sammy to recharge herself emotionally but Rowena is very much nervous about catering to Sammy's wishes (i.e if Sammy wants control, Sammy gets control).

Other: Harlequin's relationship might be stable but it's really not healthy for Rowena. Rowena is way too subservient to Sammy and doesn't realise this. Also Harle has the most ridiculous bogan Australian accent and says things like:

Since Harlequin is a really *young* fusion, she only has two other regenerations and that was only because Samantha's scientific curiosity accidentally got them into situations when they were poofed. This is the first fusion design but it got poofed after Samantha wanted to know how strong they were and they ended up getting crushed under a big machine. After that, this is the second regen which poofed after they were training with their new weapon (a floating disc) but due to design errors, they fell off while at a height and got seriously injured. The permafusion is stable so they don't have extra limbs and eyes (this is kind of a headcannon thing i have about super-stable relationships making fusions that look "normal")
