Ambrose Lavoric

Ambie is overly friendly to anyone and everyone, but that doesn't mean he'll take shit from anyone, even if it's unintentional. Often relaxed and laid back, Ambie will listen to people's problems and often gives them advice. He'll play-fight with close friends, but he doesn't tease often. Having a hard time getting attached to mortals, Ambie only ever gets attached to them based on their personality, rather than appearance, but gets nervous when trying to explain to them that he's basically dead. He tries to get along with everyone, even if it seems difficult at times. Ambie has lived too long to be easily embarrassed, but that doesn't mean he doesn't get that way from time to time.

The tavern in which Ambie works at has two realms it exists in; the realm of the living and the spirit realm. The building has a spell to allow both spirits and mortals to go in and out as they please. Within the tavern, spirits are touchable by mortals. When a spirit leaves the tavern and into the realm of the living, they're forcibly transformed into an animal in which their spirit would represent. Inside, the tavern is of a mostly red coloration and is dimly lit by lanterns for a more atmospheric effect. It doubles as a bar and strip club in the front, while in the back holds several rooms for guests to stay, and a story upholds personal rooms for the workers to live in. The building has multiple stories that go above and below the main floor. Items from the spirit realm cannot be taken into the realm of the living, and would otherwise fall out of a mortal's hand or pocket.

Being very large and tall, Ambie would have an imposing figure until one got to know him. He is the very definition of a bara, having the brute strength and build that can easily crush any. However, he usually refrains from such brutalities. Ambie would be considered a huggable teddy bear by the pudge of his stomach, with large muscular arms for an equally bearish hug. His legs are equally as muscular as his arms. For some reason, Ambie likes to keep a constant twelve o'clock shadow upon his otherwise long face, which lacks any cheek bones or any other sharp features. His nose is a bit large and arcs down smoothly, and his eyes are a soft green, which slopes down with kindness and slight tiredness. His eyebrows are a bit thick, and his hair is long with small waves here and there. His hair is of an almost strawberry red color, with streaks of white here and there. Within his hair are a pair of floppy rabbit ears, long enough to go past his chin and touch his collarbone. Wearing a large, off-white formal vestment of a priest, Ambie wears a donjiki (the robe) which completely covers his shoulders and even a good bit of his neck, under a brown gojo-gesa (a five-paneled Buddhist surplice). He often holds a red nenju rosary (a loop of beads meant to be held in either the left or both hands, and prayed with, rather than worn around the neck) in his hand. Under his robe, he wears a brown sashinuki (an under-layer of cloth) underneath his robe, which matches his surplice and completely covers his otherwise large feet.

lumi & rose, being a mortal & a spirit, use ambie's tavern as a meeting space and a space to physically interact with each other. he practically has a room reserved for the two, and gives them free room and board as their love warms his heart.

karlel, a chicken spirit, has started working at ambie's bar relatively recently for lack of much else to do. she's still learning the ropes but she enjoys socializing with the customers and tryin to please her boss
