Profile
Name: Selowen Kovelas
Race: High Elf
Age: 152
Hair: Golden Blonde
Eyes: Sky Blue
Height: 5'8''
Build: Curvy
Occupation: Ranger for Hire
Personality: Selowen’s bubbly, often optimistic personality seems to clash with the elegant grace that other Elves portray. The first thing people always notice about Selowen is she can be a little ditzy and border line flirtatious. This type of personality is often misleading and becomes tricky when dealing with certain individuals. Mostly people think of her as naïve, but she can be bold in battle and is often strategizing a lot more than people would give her credit for. Selowen would rather smile than live in despair even if that smile must be a lie. Something that sets her apart from her kin is her fascination with the other people. She will often get very excited when it comes to learning about the traits and habits of other races she has not met before.
Backstory: Selowen has always been kind of an odd ball compared to the other elves that exemplified grace and order. The other Elves she called kin were not shy about pointing out all her flaws the same way they did to the other races of the world. She often felt alone with no talent or skills to guide her. The pressure form her family to fall in line was immense
There was only one Elf named Thanaias, who saw her as charming and recognized her potential. He became her mentor and helped her find a purpose when he taught her how to use a bow. Selowen had finally found something she was skilled at and her mentor made sure to nurture her talent. In time she grew to love him and he returned those feelings. Everything in life seemed to finally be coming together when tragedy took Thanaias from Selowen. Though Elves have been known to shut down due to loneliness she would not succumb to death, feeling it would disappointed her true love. They both found life precious and to this day Selowen holds that in high regards. With no one left to turn to and being unable to deal with this judging nature of her kin she left her home land.
