he founded and runs a military biotech company. also hes married to the premier of the world order. they pretend to love each other but its more of a mutual beneficial thing they do. They even have a (estranged) son together, for the illusion. They do like each other in a way and are friends and work together but they aren't romantic.
Was originally a scientist who worked alone (with Blaine), and then a professor at a college which is where he met Jon. Currently he rarely does scientist things, mostly relegating Blaine to it, but he does occasionally work in his secret lab. Typically he's just doing rich CEO shit (making other people do his work and doing whatever he wants in the meantime)
