✝️ Our Bright Light ✝️

Vincent has little memory of where he was born and who raised him,
being a vampire he has lived for a very long time. 

His earliest memories are of his deceased wife and daughter, who he loved dearly
but they perished when their house burned down, the cause unknown.

Depressed and without a home, he started studying magic and at first it was
just to have something to occupy his troubled mind but he got greedy and
interested in dark magic. Years later he made a pact with a demon who
cursed him with vampirism.

Cursed, or blessed as he believes, with eternal life and little to no respect for
humans, he traveled the world and did as he pleased, until he joined a clan of high
class vampires wearing the symbol of a spider. He became known in their
ranks as the white spider. With them he studied even darker magic, forbidden
magic and this was his life for a long time until he grew bored.
Patterns began repeating themselves and everything became predictable.

He decided to do something different and joined a church in a human town.
It wasn’t long before he became their priest. He is loved in the community, seen
as a very humble and caring man, carrying a cane around to help him with his limp.
He likes playing this role, maybe more than he realizes.
Still he preyed upon the humans in secret.

Now the position of bishop is within his reach.
He’ll grow to have more power and influence, and he has no plans of stopping.
