Design Notes:

• Built like the oviraptorid dinosaur Citipati
• Short, slightly hooked toothless beak connected to a hard crest on top of her head
• Sparkly blue heart-shaped nose overlaps with beak
• Soft grey feathers cover everything except fingers, feet, and beak/crest
• Arms are feathered like wings, though they're too small to fly/glide
• Fan of long red feathers around tail tip
• Wears two simple black snake-chain necklaces
• Can size-shift between bumblebun size and emu size, but mostly stays at roughly mothcat size

Character Notes:

• Gets fidgety and starts pacing/bouncing in place/preening her feathers during moments of inactivity
• The only place she really holds still and fully relaxes is in her bed, which is her cozy safe space.
• The aforementioned "bed" is actually more like a nest made of blankets and pillows that she snuggles down into. When her adopted son was still a kitten, he used to sleep in it with her, nestled into her feathers.
• Shows her affection by gifting loved ones with decorated eggs/egg knick-knacks
• Many of her egg knick knacks were decorated by her! She likes to craft in her free time.
• Thinks holding cold rocks is a nice sensory experience -- sometimes puts rocks in her freezer and then pulls them out to fidget with
• If you ask her about her adopted son, Trout, she will talk to you about him for hours and show you so. many. photos.
• Became a midwife because she thinks birth is just!! Really cool!! And she wants to make it easier and comfier for new parents.
