Io is a kind soul who lives with few material possessions or social connections. He always seems to have a level head, despite his job sometimes requiring him to be violent. He is a very supportive, and curious individual, with an appreciation for all lifeforms. He's sometimes insecure about the often strange quirks his species has, but he never tries to be anything different either.

Io grew up as a nomad among the stars with a small space colony of his people. They lived very simple and peaceful lives, although it was also pretty boring as well. At a young age, Io left the nest for a year as is tradition for his people, but he was never able to find his colony again afterwards. It was believed they were claimed in a natural disaster, or by war.

While looking for work to keep himself alive and safe, he fell into a guild of hunters. It was here that he was quickly trained in combat, and used to retrieve treasures and people with bounties. It seems as though he has an uncanny ability to find anything or anyone that had been lost, so as long as they weren't destroyed.

He broke away from the guild as soon as he was able to, and bought a small starship for himself. Ever since then he has been wandering the galaxy, find things and people who have been lost for a small price.
