Ivar drifts between solar systems, visiting different ships and planets along his way. He is a being not from this realm, and exists as an ever-changing being made of light and crystal. He primarily does odd jobs, ranging from bounty hunting to service gigs. Generally he prefers a peaceful life, but if the excitement is enough, he is known to wander into more dangerous jobs.

Ivar gets along well with most people at first. He's charming and considerate of different cultures and experiences. However his silver tongue is known to slip up and get himself in trouble from time to time. He does not seem to face the same fears of other beings, and rarely has to worry for his life or well being. His relaxed attitude almost never falters, and this can easily irritate or insult people during times of tension.

Summary

Ivar fled to this realm after a plague started to take over his people. He hadn't meant to drift so far, but now that he is here, there is no way to get back. If someone asks him where he comes from, he'll likely give a bullshit answer, so as to not upset anyone, or put himself in any real danger. His kind essentially exists as a sentient crystal that can physically manifest a body, and grow the organs and bones necessary to adapt. This is a somewhat lengthy process that can take days to complete, and he'll never look fully like the species he is trying to imitate. He will always be somewhat transparent in his outer limbs, and glow the soft color of his crystal. His form can vary in realism and functionality, depending on his energy.

He usually wears a mask to conceal the fact that he doesn't always have a face, and wears a lot of clothes to cover the ever-so-visible crystallized organs within. Typically, he opts for a humanoid figure since this is mostly standard in this universe. He is not insecure about his strangeness, in fact, he often embraces it when appropriate.

Despite his strangeness, he makes friends quickly and easily. He is a very kind, and literally sunny individual who is hardly ever judgmental or critical of others. He finds this universe fascinating, and its people inspiring, troubling, and endearing. He has no life goals. He just drifts about, inserting himself into the lives of others before leaving.
