- Amber was once known for her a terrible temper when she was younger, terrible in that it would cause her to flare up uncontrollably. This made the other fairies and especially the other children afraid of her.
- It got out of hand to the point where Queen Ripple was asked to do something about it. So to help control her temper and her powers, Amber was tasked with growing a garden from the ground up. Flaring up would damage any progress made on the garden, and tending to the plants would require gentle care. Time growing her first garden as well as growing bigger gardens over time is what lead to Ember learning patience and holding firm control over her emotions.
