👑 The illustrious mascot of the high-end fashion brand, Siege Couture. Whether or not it's for a promotional event, they're ready to flaunt and frolic for the amazement of all. Their passion for an audience has led them on many adventures outside of permission, much to the dismay of their executives. Fortunately their escapades have proved to be wholly endearing to the public, as they have nothing but a heart of gold to brandish.

In all their splendor and spectacle, Taliesin is a Grem of rather plain sensibilities. In terms of emotional complexity, they aren't that many morsels above a household pet or domestic Grem. They favor all things glamorous and gaudy, delighted by gifts, new projects and new people. Though they are in need of a lot of pleasing, it's hardly a complicated task to please them. Their need for engagement is fulfilled easily when it's company policy to pamper them. If not the thousands of employees bustling about the corporate headquarters, they have a personal bodyguard at hand most hours — and their nearest and dearest companion, Odelisse. As vain as they are, you'll never find a Grem more difficult to find insults for. Taliesin seems to be either entirely careless or oblivious to anyone trying to pick fights with them, perceiving jabs as interest: an invitation to get closer. Their philosophy of settling disagreements is by pouncing with affection or playbiting. They simply adore others too much to imagine unfriendliness. About the only thing that truly provokes them is touching their precious horn...

JOB / HOBBIES

Reigns as the regal icon of Siege Couture. The company designs, manufactures, distributes and retails fashion and lifestyle products inspired by medieval themes. Taliesin was created to embody the essence of the brand, brimming with passion for the industry around them. However, they themself completely lack any judgment when it comes to design or business. The directors hold board meetings to indulge their rampant ideas anyway. Actual meetings try to take place aside from the Grem's knowledge — no one will stop them though if they happen to barge in. With Taliesin standing as the prized asset, it's explicit that they're kept at the pinnacle of comfort, and distraction. Otherwise, they're a bit of a problem to productivity when they're absconding to the city to gatecrash local boutiques, hosting their own giveaways of store inventory. When not galavanting about the office, they're contained at a private penthouse that is absurdly lavish. It has accommodations to keep them all the more preoccupied: an indoor slide, swings, ball pit, and spring floors.

HISTORY

Taliesin's career has been devoid of big changes, with everything being all too exciting for them to differentiate day to day. Ever since their initial release, they have been unstoppable bouncing between projects. They proved an almighty handful for their owners in the first few years with just how unstoppable they were. Instead of reigning in their rambunctious nature, the company learned to divert it in a way that wasn't detrimental. Thus, they have remained the beloved menace they were at the start, with their public image rising all the while.

With their stretch of success, Siege Couture decided to invest in a partner for Taliesin. Odelisse was then commissioned from GremCorps, which yielded widespread sensation among their customer base. Behind the scenes, the two were quarreling often. Taliesin was a bit overeager for Ode's company, who was anxious and touchy. Somewhere along the lines, they managed to grow close without their managers realizing. The two have proven inseparable since then, though there is a competitive nuance between them.

So far, the most distressing occurrence in Taliesin's life was when their horn broke while they were clowning around one day, making a fiasco for a PR campaign at the time. They're very sensitive on the memory, and prone to biting if anyone dares touch the gilded spike upon their head.

Relationships

Odelisse  [ best friend / counterpart ]

Taliesin has the utmost of affection and attachment for their partner. It was an immense joy in their lifetime when Odelisse came into the picture, their anticipation built up over years of rumor and arrangements for a companion. The two's differences in personality make them incompatible at times. But despite how often they bicker, they're full of devotion and understanding for each other. They bring out different aspects in one another that normally don't show, Odelisse inspiring a more sensible and lenient side in Taliesin, while they spark a desire for fun in him.

Leonie  [ bodyguard ]

Taliesin's and Odelisse's primary bodyguard. Leonie has lasted in her position more so for her emotional hardiness than anything in managing the two. It's weary work acting as their chaperone and protector when they're hardwired to be as impulsive as they please. As often as the pair instigate escapes, she's been patient in tracking them down and retrieving them always. It's not her job to coach them, so she refrains from scolding them in their mischief. She's delightful enough company that they're usually unmotivated to cause trouble while she's working on the premises.

Gwyndolin  [ friend ]

In their accomplished track record, Siege Couture decided to branch off into a subsidiaries. One such instance of sub-branding emerged as OPULENCE. The Grem that arose as the primary model attracted the quick curiosity of the two mascot Grems. While Odelisse formed something more intimate with Gwyn, he is someone Taliesin bears a lighthearted familiarity with. They adore him to pieces, especially since the gentle Grem indulges their energetic behavior. It's difficult for Taliesin to set aside their enthusiasm to present Gwyn and Ode private time together.

Dietrich  [ spokesperson ]

The spokesperson for Siege Couture. Taliesin acknowledges her authority within the company, but it does little to deter them in their own sense of sovereignty. Not that Dietrich makes much of a move to interfere with their fun. She poses as a gentle advisor, always present to receive their company and provide counsel when they seek it. Despite being in such a position of official power, Taliesin has never viewed her as an obstacle or threat.
