Although he initially comes off as gruff, Ajax has a heart of gold. He goes out of his way to make sure those around him are well taken care of. Sure, he can be tough on those he loves at times. And yeah, he isn’t terribly eloquent and speaks in short sentences. However, he’s never mean or cruel. Ajax does his best to uplift his family.
Ajax is brilliant when it comes to working metal. He pours a lot of care into making sure his work is the best it can be. It pays off in the end - most people tend to agree that his works are the best money can buy. Ajax is pleased with his reputation, and doesn’t want to ruin it in the slightest.
Secretly, Ajax wishes he could’ve been a fairy tale knight. He’s always thought the idea of saving the princess sounds like a wonderful one. Unfortunately for him, though, most people have him pegged as the dragon who steals the princess away. This is the reason why he doesn’t have a great relationship with his in-laws. Juliet’s parents believed him to be stealing away a beautiful, high class woman into a life of poverty when in reality the two loved each other dearly.
Ajax adores his wife greatly and would steal her the moon if it’s what she wanted. He’s always honest with her, even if he isn’t the most eloquent. Although Ajax isn’t the perfect fairy tale prince, Juliet adores him regardless.
Biron is Ajax’ oldest son and the child who’s slated to take over the smithy. Biron takes a lot after Ajax, if a bit more eloquent. Ajax is proud of his boy and is always pushing him to be the best he can be.
Ophelia is an absolute sweetheart, and Ajax couldn’t be happier with where her life is going. Although she’s had a bit of a tough time, Ajax has always been there with her and always will be.
Macbeth hasn’t really done anything with his life. In turn, Ajax is extremely disappointed in him. The two don’t have the best of relationships, although Ajax has attempted to repair it without return.
Constance is full of determination and knows exactly what she wants out of life. Ajax will do everything he can to make sure she gets it. He loves her that much.
Feste is a delight to be around. They’re clearly full of life and laughter and have been spending lots of time becoming someone who brings cheer to everyone. Ajax is quite fond of them and supports them greatly.
Mercutio is so full of potential, and Ajax can’t help but push them onwards. This might be the wrong idea, though, because Mercutio seems to be pushing back. Ajax only hopes he doesn’t cause any more problems.
