Calculated - Doting - Affectionate - Manipulative - Well-Meaning - Sly - Charismatic - Unrelenting - doesn't really care what anyone thinks of her. Shes focused on what she believes is best for herself and her family and friends
A Magister of Extreme Wit, Power and Knowledge, Caecilia is regarded by many as a leper, yet remains feared and respected for her abilities all the same. Despite being looked down upon by many in thought, Caecilia has never let it stop her from pursuing her goals of bettering her people, remorseful for who they had become and the horrible things they had done to others. while she cares a great deal for her home, she is prone to speaking out about many of the issues it faces as a whole, earning her many more than a single enemy. She works particularly hard to address the issues facing slavery and the mistreatment of the lower classes. While regarded as kind by the masses, Caecilia can still be ruthless and would not hesitate to cut down those who stand in her way, believing heavily in acceptable loss.
Family acted as one that was anti-slavery generations ago before falling back in line with Tevinter standard ideals.
Lost a great deal of power because of it but slowly began working their ways back up
Family caught a lucky break when a Magister was willing to take Caecilia on as an apprentice
Even more so when the prospect of marriage came up, her master having become smitten
Eventually married the man for her family's benefit. Was not content, however.
Had a Son with the man, the only thing that brought her any amount of joy
At least until she met one man who showed her true love through compassion, kindness and idealism despite the hardships he had faced. Issue at hand? He was one of her Husband's slaves.
Regardless of who he was, Caecilia came to love him as he loved her. entered an affair for some time with one another
Until her husband found out and soon after used Caecilia's lover for ritualistic purposes. But not before Caecilia had become pregnant with the slaves child
Caecilia came to viley dispise her husband after this incident. It didn't take long for him to end up dead and for Caecilia to soon after inherit her master and husband's seat in the Magisterium
Began working to try and better her country as soon as she hit power, pulling no punches as she did and taking no words from anyone. Was on a warpath and didn't care who knew
Eventually worked towards bettering the lives of lower classes and salves. Even went so far as to assist Salves in escape should it have come to it, a major risk for her.
Trivia
- She keeps a vial of her lover's blood as a reminder of the cost one within Tevinter must pay to remain in power, and to trun herself away from every hjaving to go to such measures
Her in laws all adore her and never really cared for her husband. they were satisfied she had produced and heir and felt her more capeable than her husband at managing her power, despite her veiws
Her own family isn't too pleased with her
Her brother in law especially adores her in a very platonic way and takes care of things when she is away from her home, including her children.
