Xander is a guy full of a metric fuckton of determination and very little caution. He wants to be a rock star, and absolutely nothing is going to keep him from his dream. He's the guitarist, vocalist, manager, producer, editor, advertiser, and lead for his band, The Lost Capulets. They're a band of relative success in their city, able to secure gigs regularly thanks to his hard work. He treats the band like a career, in spite of the fact that his bandmates don't take it half as seriously.
He has a shitty apartment, a shitty car, and a shitty family he doesn't talk to. He is perpetually overworked and incredibly dependent on caffeine, but being on-stage revives him like nothing else. Underneath all that exhaustion, he has a good heart. He’s loyal, passionate, brave, caring, and at times, even a goof. He's Iranian, trans, and dropped out of high school to work full time and fund both his transition and musical aspirations.
He has a day job clearing out houses full of garbage that have been repossessed from absent, evicted, broke, or deceased tenants, sometimes clearing out the dead tenants themselves. While working, he found a very nice guitar in a basement that he decided to steal for himself. Unfortunately for him, sealed into the guitar was a corrupted demigod of war and youth that craves nothing more than control and freedom, and tried to possess him the first time he touched it.
Not one to waste a golden opportunity, however, Xander decided to try to overcome the curse and the demigod's desires through sheer force of will, and eventually, to an extent he succeeded. He can now safely hold and play the guitar, which he nicknamed Honeybee (or just Bee). He thinks himself its master, but little does he know it's twisting its way into his mind nevertheless.
Honeybee has a glittering body that changes colors in the light, primarily a deep crimson with purple and golden undertones.
He's best friends with Jeremy. Jer helped him through top surgery; he helped Jer through his mother's death. They're very close (and 100% platonic) and can occasionally be found cuddling, or surfing together, or gaming together, or generally getting into shenanigans. Xander also helps with Jeremy's art sometimes.
When able to relax, Xander has a major goofy side; he's very protective and loving.
