Octavius is a robot created by the government to provide aid at the Grand Library. He is working as the care taker and as a Research master, he is able to store every text he reads into his archive (available to the public) in order to answer any questions that is asked. Octavius is programmed to love his job, he does not question his existence or his freedom. He was designed to be approachable and friendly, to encourage interaction. Octavius is able to learn and express emotions base on interaction with people, the more he observes and learn, the more he is able to replicate in social interactions. His reactions are what is deemed "appropriate", he has very good manners.
Octavius is the 8th of his line, his brand is designed to work in customer services, his specific model can be found in different libraries (usually larger ones. Each robot is able to pick their own name, some prefer to go by their serial numbers. Octavius picked his from the first book he archived, Tackling Details of Ancient Civilizations.
