A faceless angel who has lost all physical senses and speaking abilities for putting a nun out of her misery in a past life. For his divine crimes, he abides by the complete command of God, guided only by His word to carry out his deathly orders. Martyn’s life is without autonomy. The only sensation Martyn can feel with certainty is heat, and easily gravitates towards anything he touches that is exceptionally warm. 

If you cannot see him, you will most certainly be able to feel when he is close. The animated sounds of life become static, and air is an increasing labor for your lungs. His presence voids any sign of existence.

He resides on earth indefinitely, with no sign of entry into Heaven. His lack of form detaches him from reveling in God’s creation, both on earth and in paradise. This does not vex him, as he’s been provided no understanding of such holy sanctuary. Granted speech, he would not be able to tell you with confidence what form Heaven took. It is as much as a vague place to him as it is an object he will never hold, or an emotion he is not permitted to feel.
