Nashira Aquaregis

    Nashira is the a part of the current royal family of Nova Pharos, one of the last remaining kingdoms. Because of the nature and circumstances of the kingdom, she has also been a sheltered princess, unable to go outside of her kingdom while the rest of the world keeps getting more advance. Because of this, she ended up learning more about the magic world and the stories told about mermaids, leading her to become obsessed with them. Making things worse was the fact that her mother was more focus on the economics and trades in an increasingly stressing time, and her father was busy being enducted into the Creed of Prometheus, leaving her mostly alone or with the servants of the castle.

    At 10 years old, thanks to her father becoming a part of the Creed and them showing how devoted they were to protecting the kingdom, Nashira was given the symbol of the Creed branded right where her heart would be. With this, she was able to access the magic within her so much more easily, allowing her to become devoted to a new hobby. Now in her spare time she would practice magic, specifically water magic and becoming quite good at it. While she mainly uses it for her dancing, she does start trying to use it for more offensive usage but to mixed results.

    Her fascination with mermaids kept getting bigger and bigger, as she was even caught trying to make her own tail for swimming. But it would be this fascination that would give her a curse at the age of 13. On a walk on the nearby beaches at night, she encounters a mermaid named Isabella. Blinded by her excitement, she immediately ran over and greeted the mermaid. All she would talk about to Isabella was how great mermaids are while barely even talking about herself. Seeing this excitement in Nashira, Isabella tricked her by promising to give her a mermaid form, only to give her a more monsterous mermaid curse. Then leaving with this new curse until sunrise returned her to normal. Even when she was taken to the elders, they couldn't do a thing to remove the curse as it acted like a mutation stuck to her soul. She was stuck with this curse for 5 years before exploring an abandoned temple with several people, where in a near-death experience, she ended up being enguffed in a glow of light while drowning. When the glow disappeared, her cursed was now turned into an actual mermaid form for her.

    Now she is living a much more happier life. Not only being a close-to master of her water magic abilities, but also happy with her new mermaid form (no curses attached). While she still pretty mediocore at diplomacy and has a tendancy to act childish on occasion, she still wants to try to help people and keep everyone safe, like her family and the elders of the Creed have done for years.
