Lampyr are a closed species owned by Lichelet - Please do not make your own, as I'm not comfortable enough with their info to allow people to do so.
A terrifying urban legend, Lampyr are sighted far and wide; from ocean shores, to river banks, to isolated ponds, and can take on many forms. It is said they take their appearance from those vengeful of the water, with a past lost to the tides, accompanied by a large maw crowded by knife-like teeth, and a tail several times larger than their bodies, making them powerful swimmers but vulnerable on land as the weight is difficult, if not impossible, to carry.
Highly aggressive and cunning, they tend to lure unsuspecting victims into the water to feed with large unhinged jaws, sinking teeth into the flesh and lapping up the blood as it pours. All the while, the victim feels a euphoric pleasure, as the Lampyr's saliva is coated in a mind-altering, anti-coagulating substance, allowing the victim emmense joy as they take their final breaths.
