Nate is 17, and has a younger sister named Kate who is 10. His biological father divorced his mom when he was very young and his mom remarried when he was 7 and had Kate shortly after. Nate has vitiligo and got bullied a lot in his elementary years because of it. He became very shy and untrusting of people and didn't open up more until highschool. He met Zander in his junior year and they quickly became friends. Nate found out he had feelings for Zander a year later and they ended up as a couple but he still hasn't fully expected that hes possibly gay (no one knows about them expect Candy and Happy). Nate plays the drums and joins Zander in frisbee. He doesn't leave the house much besides school and takes care of Kate a lot when his mom and step dad are at work. Even though he still gets teased here and there about his skin he has grown more confident.
