The cog budget to scrap failed and inefficient cogs is taking a toll on the Cog Nation economy. Despite what you may believe, it's very costly to go through the process of decommissioning and scrapping cogs. To fix this, the Chairman believed in order to decrease this, someone would have to, dare I say it, become a therapist for with cogs. And that's where rolls in. Apparently, her talent for mediator and social worker as a Mingler caught the eye of the chairman. Though he first saw her kindness as unnerving and “too empathetic for a cog”, it got several cogs to start performing better, so what she was doing must have been prosperous enough for him to recognize it. Hence, she gets a promo to become a Vice President.  

Shelbie "572-0T" herself is a compassionate, open minded, warm-hard drived VP. She's very modest and soft spoken when she speaks as she likes to help cogs with their issues, problems and dilemmas. She's super supportive and loves to give cogs kudos on any progress they're making. Her ability to be open minded and listen without judging or yelling when listening to her clients makes her ideal for improving how cogs function in the workforce. Her success rate of helping cogs is 97%, so her therapist sessions with cogs really makes a big impact.

Though she's very humble and calm collected, she has NO patience for Toons. All of her compassionate is directed at her subordinates and cogs, as she finds toons impulsive with no manners. It often pisses her off to the max and makes her lose her cool when a random Toon just barges in her building. while a cog is in therapy with her.  She doesn’t wanna admit it, but she once met a nice toon that gave her a daisy, and she's kept it as a pin on her jacket ever since. Needless to say, she's like a mother to most cogs. Even Cashbots can't sell her because they know how successful she is.
