Appearance

Azrimoth’s retro design is a moth/dragon hybrid with a moth-like head, six legs and a long tail. Her neck, chest, ankles and tail tip has light teal fluff. Her body is teal with a pale teal belly with a black stripe, a darker teal back and cyan stripes. She has bright teal compound eyes with a pale teal ring then black ring around that. Her antennae are dark teal and jagged. She has moth wings with various teal and cyan markings, most notable being a pale teal bull's-eye on the top of her top wing and bottom of her bottom wing.

Azrimoth’s more modern design is longer, taking inspiration from Eastern dragons. Her head is more pointed, her eyes are bright teal and pupiless and her antenna are fluffy. Her body is teal with a pale teal belly with a black stripe, a darker teal back and darker cyan stripes. Her light teal neck ruff is longer, reaching down to her chest. Her wings retain the same markings but are larger and have a “tail”.

Personality

Azri is a peaceful and benevolent kaiju, preferring to stay out of fights and prone to acts of kindness. It's not uncommon she uses her storm abilities to end droughts and liven farmland. When faced with a fight with another kaiju, she either flees or uses special scales to pacify the enemy. However, if there is eminent danger to a group of humans, she's known to either lead away or even fight the enemy kaiju. .

History

The origin of Azrimoth are as foggy as her storms. Hailing from the rainforests of South America, she is said to have been born in the first rainstorm in Earth's history. Other tales say she is an ancient species of moth that has survived to the modern day. Even others say she was born from the hopes of a people caught in what seemed to be an eternal drought. No one knows for sure and even telepaths can't get the answer out of the moth herself, who finds the speculation amusing. Nowadays, she uses wind currents to explore more of the Earth and protect humanity where she can.

Skills

As a kaiju, she has an advanced healing factor and super strength. Her set of abilities include storm manipulation including the ability to summon and banish storms and the ability to summon winds with a flap of her wings. She can also shed pacifying scales off her wings. These scales also have reflective properties.

Trivia

• She has two designs: a retro one (ala the Heisei or Showa era of Godzilla) and a modern one (ala the Monsterverse).
• Her aliases include Azri, Lightning Bug, The Hurricane Queen and Blue.
• Her blue stripes glow in dim to dark lightning, leading to the "Lightning Bug" moniker.
