colors change with mood/status. cannot control or hide what colors he changes to. generally, the more saturated his colors are the more intense his emotions are, the exceptions to this are sorrow and fury which make his colors either dark or light grayscale shades respectively. 

other than those i haven't really settled on what colors correspond to what emotions, tho his default state is the one in his icon. 

basically feel free to draw him with any palette, the only consistent design elements are his patterns and anatomy, feel free to fuck around with his colors any way you'd like tbh (including changing colors on patterns that normally don't change ie, the tan and white areas
