Personality                    Pastello is a trouble maker with a very chaotic hyper energy, stubborn and argumentative, and is often defiant of authority. He tends to be snarky, sarcastic, and often very blunt with his feelings. He has a crude sense of humor and is very flirtatious and forward. Despite his mischievous behavior though, he is, at his core, a generally very happy and good-natured person. He is a very understanding and caring person, with a natural instinct to protect his loved ones and do what he can to keep them safe and happy even at the expense of his own safety. Pastello's general demeanor is that of high confidence, even where it would be better to admit that he's not knowledgable or prepared enough for the situation at hand. For the most part- this confidence is genuine. He is a very sociable boy, very well-liked by most who meet him and can easily handle social situations and this has built his confidence a great deal. However; Pastello still does have lingering self-confidence issues regarding his appearance and his academic failings. 

History                           Pastello was born into a poor family that already had 7 other children. Pastello's mother abandoned the family shortly after Pastello's younger sister, Rosa, was born. Over the next 5 years, Pastello's older siblings began to slowly die of disease and starvation as a result of their father's neglect. The only way Pastello and Rosa managed to survive was by their oldest brother, who provided for his younger siblings by stealing and begging. When Pastello's older brother was 16, he went away for a job that supposedly paid very well, promising his siblings he would return and take them off somewhere safer. However; he never returned from his job and was presumed to be dead. Within a few days, the news had reached Pastello's uncle, Luciano. Luciano quickly found the home, hoping he was still in time to save at least one of his nieces or nephews, where he found Pastello and Rosa and took them into his care. The kids were both in a miserable condition, physically and mentally. They were afraid and refused to talk, they hadn't eaten or bathed in days, and neither of them had ever so much as set foot inside of a school. Pastello's uncle was lucky to have found relative success in his career path and was able to afford the necessities to take care of the children, but being only about as old as their oldest brother, he didn't know much about properly raising children. He did the best he could with what he did know, he taught them how to read and do basic math and then enrolled them in school. Rosa was able to quickly catch up with her classmates, but Pastello struggled to stay on level for his age and often ended up being held back. When Pastello was 15, he heard rumors that members of Passione may have had something to do with his older brother's disappearance. After hearing this, he dropped out of school and joined Passione in the hopes that in working for them, he could eventually find out what really happened to his brother and get closure. 

Trivia: 

• Carries many colorful dice around in his pockets, has a weird habit of putting them in his mouth. This habit isn't exclusive to the dice, he does this with anything he thinks might have a nice or 'interesting' texture, but dice are his favorite 
• Loves hard candies, particularly cinnamon and green mint 
• Speaks with very poor grammar 
• Despite his feminine and youthful appearance, Pastello has a surprisingly deep and masculine voice 
• His favorite musicians are Ace of Base and Britney Spears
• Pastello usually lists and quotes his height as 5'6" rather than 5'5". The extra inch matters a ridiculous amount to him and he refuses to accept that he is not actually that tall. He also frequently wears platform shoes or heels to make himself look taller 
• His blood type is B+ 
• The sound of people chewing badly irritates him to the point that he generally prefers to eat alone 
• Pastello generally finds it very easy to persuade people to do things for him
• He is dyslexic and has a difficult time with reading and writing words, but math comes very easily to him as he finds number patterns easier to recognize or figure out than letters
• Doesn't like touching unsanded wood or raw meat, the feeling makes him incredibly uncomfortable 
• Pastello's hair was shaved completely off when he was 10 because of the horrible, matted condition it was in when his uncle took him in. When he was 15, he began attempting to grow it back out but it grows VERY slowly 
• Pastello also has very little body hair and is seemingly unable to grow any facial hair 
• Has difficulty gaining/keeping on weight and was bordering on dangerously underweight for most of his childhood and early teen years
• Pastello was, and to a degree still is, very self-conscious about his physical appearance as a result of his father constantly referring to him as an "ugly brat" when he was younger, which is why he craves compliments so much  
• Can handle heat very well, but is extremely sensitive to the cold 
• Pretty bad at cooking, but has mastered a few breakfast foods (namely pancakes and eggs)
