At the beginning of each mystery, if you look for the wider patterns that current events might be part of, roll +Sharp. Success! on a 10+ hold 3.Partial Success! on a 7-9 hold 1. Choices! Spend your hold during the mystery to ask the Keeper any one of the following questions:

Andy's very caring, patient, and supportive mom. She does her best to provide for them both despite their circumstances and her physical disability from a car accident. Andy wishes she'd let him help more, but even with him being a young adult, she still attempts to make sure she can care and provide for him. Still, he's taken up this TV show/monster hunting gig to hopefully make things easier for her.
Owen Salotto
Andy's father. He used to look up to him, but ever since he left their family without a word, he's been confused and bitter. He watched a man who'd been a pretty solid rock for both him and his mother suddenly pack a couple of light bags and just run. Andy's pretty sure his dad didn't know he was home sick that day. He'd practically sworn off talking or thinking about his dad not long after that, but now he's having dreams/nightmares of him; a scraggly, unhinged mess of a man with a missing arm trapped in a room trying to put some mystery together. Andy hopes it's a coincidence, but he has a feeling there's some bigger picture that he needs to look into.
Quinn Davis
One of Andy's best friends for years and twin brother to Anya. They hang out, vibe, and get into all kinds of trouble together. Quinn is super chill and really goes with the flow, despite the shenanigans Andy drags him into. Andy can and will square up with literally anyone who gives Quinn shit, including the twin's father. Quinn was there when Andy was inflicted with his new monster curse, and both he and his sister Anya have been a rock for him in figuring this all out while keeping it quiet from his mom.
Anya Davis
Another of Andy's best friends and Quinn's twin sister. Anya is the smart but hotheaded one of the trio, and she and Andy share in their 'fuck the system' attitude and really get into trouble together. Anya may be the younger one of the twins, but really she looks after both Quinn and Andy the most. Anya was also there when he was bit by...whatever it was that gave him this curse. The twins were already literally the best friends he could ever ask for, and he's been incredibly grateful for their help and company.
