Species: Homunculus

Homunculus in reference to these creatures is a in-lore name, you can also just call them weird hand chickens or whatever.
Magicians create and maintain the Homunculi as pack animals, transporting objects, people, and themselves in the 'mouth'.
Homunculi cannot speak, and are not intelligent, but the Magician can use them as conduits to determine the makeup of an object when stored inside the 'mouth'.

Homunculi tend to be white or other skin tones, so they're not very interesting, so they're not really available for other people to make. sorry... you can ask me to include them in your stories, but they're not the kind of species you 'make OCs' of. They're basically just weird naked giant chickens.
