ABOUT
Nathan has held the whole brunt of the Blueberry experience. Being a homeless child when he was chosen to be a warrior, he’s since grown into his role spectacularly. Nathan’s weapon specialty is hammers and mallets, as well as any other weapon that does blunt force damage.
DESIGN
- The cape is not optional! It's held in place by the glowing square panel on his chest, and that panel is important and mandatory!
- The outer side of his arm bands also have glowing white square panels on them.
- His prosthesis legs are made primarily of blue-tinted fiberglass and glow faintly.
- He uses hammers as a weapon, which have a very specific design. Until he gets an actual ref, you can see what they look like in his gallery.
TRIVIA
- He's really good at baking, a skill left over from his job as a child. Whenever he's home you can smell the sweetness baking from down the hill.
- Most of the time when he's not on duty or upholding his public image, he takes a break from using his prostheses and moves around in a wheelchair instead.
- He seems to have a bit of an awkward secret history with the Prince of Blueberry that neither of them will say anything about...

PERSONALITY
Nathan is a strong soul that's been through plenty of trauma, especially physically, but over the years he's learned to handle this and his overall responsibility to a point. Despite his strengths, Nathan has a bit of a temper and may lose his cool if he feels someone is treating one of his friends unfairly, and becomes a bit of a grump when he's in a particularly sour mood. Despite all this, he's been learning how to manage his anger, mostly for the sake of others.
He is very loyal to the ones he loves and will do many things to keep them safe, which is part of the reason why he lost his legs from the knees down. In battle, he utilizes his hammer skills differently than most. He strives for a hefty gracefulness and has learned how to control the strength of the weapon without coming off as too brutish or unhinged.

PAST
For most of Nathan's young life, he had it rough, and bore the weight of his existence completely on his own. He was a lonely homeless child who worked long hours at a local bakery just to get by. He spent most night sleeping behind the counter at the store. Though it seemed like nothing would ever get better for him, one day he was chosen by the Preserves (the gods of this world) to become a sacred warrior and protector of the entire Blueberry Kingdom. From there he has been an integral part of a team dedicated to protecting the Fruit continent, but he has never forgotten his roots, and spends all of his spare time helping those who are in the position he himself used to be in.
PRESENT
After a horrible accident during the Fruit-Vegetable war that resulted in an entire kingdom's decimation and the loss of their leader, the team of warriors has sort of been on the down-low as the war has gone into hiatus. In the battle, Nathan lost the lower halves of his legs, which have been replaced by powerful prosthetics. He spends his days doing community work around the Blueberry Kingdom and helping as many low-class citizens as he can manage, but with the threat of the return of the war on the horizon, it sees like his attention will have to start being directed elsewhere...

One of Nathan's best friends and one of his warrior teammates. Although Ivan has become harder to keep up with in recent years, Nathan and Mordecai have maintained a relatively stable relationship, and they share their troubles with each other. However, they can be quick to get into arguments.
While they're teammates and technically friends, tensions have been high between Nathan and Ivan for the past couple of years, and they don't speak very much. Nathan is constantly annoyed by Ivan's frequently snippy attitude towards himself and Mordecai.
Nathan and Cyrus have clearly had feelings for each other since they met, but neither are willing to be the first one to say something about it. Maybe in the face of danger, it'll all come to a head...
