Personality: Bored, hopeless, serious, very set in his ways and the ways of the world after having followed it for countless years

World: (Outdated!!) In this alternate version of Earth, small differences occurred early in evolution, leading to the human species eventually becoming so incredibly advanced that nothing is fun or exciting anymore and the purpose of life is long forgotten. Anything can easily edited on an atomic level to achieve whatever one desires, including life. People can bring themselves back to life or create new life in whatever way they’d like. Artificial, chemical happiness can be so easily attained that it is no longer considered valuable. Heinous crimes have become part of a regular bucket list. Society eventually broke down from everyone’s lack of motivation, and now only a small number of humans willing to renew their lives still exist in a single, relatively small city.

Backstory: Keisa's job is a police officer, but as society broke down, laws became disregarded. His whole team of officers were quickly replaced with robots. However, since no one wanted to follow any sort of law, these robots were never programmed to do anything useful. Keisa tried to take matters into his own hands in an attempt to keep the integrity of the law by imposing harsh punishments anyone who broke even the minor laws, which was pointless as the technology rendered suffering impossible. As the years went on, he stopped trying to enforce rules and joined his fellow robot police in doing meaningless tasks all day. One day, he learned of a child his parents had created on a whim (children are created with machines like a video game character creator) and decided to visit them. That day, he met Azuki, the first human since forever with a will to thrive, who vowed to help him regain his own genuine happiness.
