Living in the shadow of his brother, Satoru only got breathing room once his brother left to take a place in the Jade Magistrate. He was sent to protect Kenya Doji, but his limelight was taken by the addition of several additional bodyguards. His standout moment was catching an enemy ninja that infiltrated the castle, both him and the enemy impaling each other on their swords. Thanks to the castle's shugenja, he lived.
