Sirius McLaughlin

Sirius is a Scottish man, hailing from the Skye Isles. He went to college in the UK after leaving home, which he was miraculously able to get approved for loans and student aid for, and achieved his medical license after both graduating college and completing 4 years of residency training (taking him a total of eight years) by the time he was 26. He then moved to America, and now lives in a small apartment. Shortly after moving, however, he found himself lonely, as he didn't spend particularly much time with people, so the solution his coworkers offered was to get a dog. Finding the solution ironically funny, he adopted a corgi from a reputable breeder and named him Duke.

Sirius McLaughlin is a young man from Scotland. Born and raised in the country, he is the son of Remus McLaughlin, the leader of a powerful Werewolf clan located along the Skye Isles. His mother, Isla McLaughlin, was a doctor for the clan, taking care of their wounded, sick, and elderly. She fell ill when he was about 7, and was too weak to defend herself against an attack from a vampire known only as Claudius. Before she fell ill, his father would belittle her verbally all the time, and become violent toward her when heavily drunk. He has grown up to be a quiet and polite man as a result of his father being an extreme ‘horrible warning’ example for him, as well as caused the relationship with his father to be estranged at best. His mother’s dedication to helping people led him down the same path, and he began to take courses in medical practice to follow his newfound passion. Unfortunately, his father viewed medical work as ‘women’s work’, and insisted that he do something else with his life. Sirius refused, and Remus revoked his status from the pack, telling him that he could reclaim his place when he stopped being a ‘pansy’. Sirius now practices his medicine where he can while not giving out his status as a werewolf. He runs an underground clinic for supernatural beings in hiding out of a rentable storage garage, and human clients can come there too if they don't have insurance and can't pay for proper medical care.
