Arizona and her sister Isis are the guardians of their own Oasis, they protect it since it is on top of a big mine of crystals, an inportan recurse that is normally carelessly extracted from the earth and leaving a dead land behind, both of them are environmental activists and have been fighting for a long time, gathering all kinds of allies and both respect and fear.
They try to never leave the Oasis alone, but sometimes they work as bounty hunters, only taking the job if they are sure the target deserves being turned in.
To be fair, their life was never easy, Arizona is the older sister (or so she says) They spent their whole childhood on the streets, didn't had a family nor a helping hand that would reach to them, Arizona fastly took the older sister role and started stealing food... to their luck, if you can call it that, the town in where they were born was really prosperous and the land was fértil, most of the town's people were farmers, and a little amount were fishermans! there was a huge market where people would gather to trade goods and sell, even so the town was poor on money.
Arizona stole what she know whats necessary, they both were know by the sellers, they all knew the circumstances these childrens were in, and always pretended to be mad at them for stealing, but always let them go. Or at least that was until the City got it's eyes on this prosperous land and sent their guards at first with a "safety" excuse, but they they took over the town... long story short, Arizona (Along with Isis) got caught by a guard, she got marked as a criminal and punished, but managed to run away, they watched how the town had turned from a bright and warm place to a cold, dead land thanks to the City activities, since then they've never forget what they can do, and what they actually do.
Even if they managed to ran away, they were still marked as criminals at such a young age, they didn't got more than 3 gems on their heads, you would have thought that every Bounty Hunter thought they were not worth the effort, but there are always jerk who wanted to get advance of them, and defeat after defeat their bounties were raising up, and more hunters would keep coming
