Edit: I didn't put a height chart comparison to a human, sorry! the gen 1 are about 8 ft tall ^^ "The ancestors" known as the gen 1 are the first "official" black faes who spawned after the "death" of Berengar, the black fae king. They had crawled from his soupy remains about a year after his death and began life as violent aggressors that attacked anything on sight (even each other). Not much is known about the Gen 1 because even the surviving eldest gen 2 never really took the time to look at this ancestor more closely since they were raised by the enigmatic gen 0 (their fathers) then once they became adults they did a similar rampage of slaughter like gen 1 (their mothers) though with much more clarity and purpose rather than just blinded by pure primal rage. The gen 2 through the "domination wars" killed all but 1 of the gen 0 and some of the gen 1. the gen 1's ultimate demise came from the males of the species just simply not mating with their female counterparts and the gen 0 taking advantage of the situation causing the gen 1 females to only birth hybrids (the gen 2). It is said however among the gen 2 that the gen 1 are an example of Berengar's warped sense of humor since while the females stunk of intoxicating hormones when in season, the gen 1 actually lacked the ability to smell so the males of the species probably assumed the females were a different animal entirely... but the gen 0 could smell the females. This leads the gen 2 to believe that "the great father" (berengar) intended for the gen 0 to find and procreate with the gen 1 while the mistakes (the males), just died out. They say that the gen 2 (themselves) must have been created for a higher purpose else why would the great father even bother with such a idea as creating a species to carry on his legacy while he stayed in a forever rotting but never dying state. It should be noted that the gen 1 are animals. They do not possess sentience and thus their actions should not be taken as intended malice, they run completely on instinct and not on higher thought.
