Annalise was born in the Federation of Abul within the State of Abul. Her father is a military commander and her mother a noblewoman, thus making her part of the elite class.
From a young age, she had been training to become a Blade Dancer. However, having found the art of fencing more beautiful, she in turn became more of a Chaos Xcaliber with the morals of those of a Duelist.
Over time, her father had asked her to join him in battles against Mamono and other military outings. Annalise had become quite skilled in her fencing skills, thus eventually receiving the praise from her mother over her skills.
She was initially enlisted to help the surrounding villages and towns take care of Mamono problems that kept arising. Annalise had eventually heard of uprisings within towns, while gaining the trust of its people, and crushing them for the king. By the time her intel hunting skills became known, King George had been replaced. Prince Hakuro, the late king's son, began to question him and sought out to find a perfect person he could trust as well as bring him intel between towns. Annalise had applied by fighting against him, disarming him in the process.
While on the outside she is still doing her initial duty, she is loyal to the prince and would do anything to help him. Especially to uncloak his father's murderer.
The earrings she wears contain a communicator that allows her to pass intel to the Prince directly and as soon as possible. She likes to joke that it's a marriage proposal (since giving jewelry is like a dowry), joking that she is more after becoming the next queen and not the intel. Though she is aware being queen means direct access instead of getting it through a third party.
