Roscoe

Roscoe is a wildlife photographer who tries to get shots of supernatural occurrences, but really sucks at it... he's rather simple minded despite trying to sound and act smart. he has a complex about people questioning his intelligence, getting easily flustered when challenged. he often wears his tinted glasses because he's been told that he needs them to see anything supernatural; they also help hide his easy embarrassment / give him confidence in sounding like he knows what he's talking about.

He got cursed by a giant magic bug that he tried to photograph (failed miserably, walked all over a sacred nesting ground, giant bug also broke his camera in rage). due to his curse, he's stuck with magic butterflies that flutter around him at all times. he hates them because:

A. they always fly in his face
B. tickle
C. their activity / flight patterns very accurately reflect roscoe's emotions or feelings, he can't keep anything secret.
D. they always block his camera lens
E. they do a few other things that worry him too much to think about.

current life goal is to find the giant bug again and make it take the butterflies away, and also get famous for publishing photos of it.
