Spade

Please reference the newest image for color patterning! I just recently simplified the layout of colors, but you can otherwise use the most recent (outdated) ref. The rest is still good for pose and shape and stuff!

Likes: Bells, fruit, heights and standing on top of things, sunlight, snow, stars, bugs, riddles, and anything small, bright, shiny, or touchy, like dice, marbles, coins, stickers, flowers, fruit, etc.
Dislikes: ????

Clothing? Yeah, go for it! There's a lot of floof up on his chest and neck, so he usually has loose clothing or larger necks to make space for it. Tight tops don't really work, nor do sleeves
Feral? Okay! Shape wise, he's closer to the build of a groove-billed ani, so they'll be the best reference!
Aesthetic Ideas? He doesn't have his own board, but he's my fursona so you can just look at mine, here! Mainly bright toy colors with a healthy dose of black/white. You can have some fun with it though, I like to see other people's takes on my characters, even(especially) if it means they don't follow the guidelines perfectly

ON WINGS:  Ideally, you draw them. I would really prefer it, but you don't have to. The problem with wing arms is that they make it awfully hard to wear certain clothes and fit nicely into certain poses, and a lot of artists may not really know how to work with that. I understand! If you want to simplify down the arms, either try to keep some of the wing-like appearance on a smaller scale, or keep the upper arm that light grey feather while turning the forearm to match the black, featherless calves.
