The Harlekin is made up of two parts tragedy and one part chaos. They're quick to anger, and just about equally as quick to act on it. Because of this, they tend to be a danger to themself and those around them.

The highblood was almost 9 sweeps old (about 19 years) when they found their descendent, Motley Batard, who was only a sweep old (around 2 years). The child was orphaned by lusus raiders, and Gacomo felt obligated to take care of her.

Together with their jade matesprit, the Sentinel, and their cobalt kismesis, the Redshift, the trio took care of Motley up until their inevitable exile at 11 sweeps (23 years).

During their exile, the trio found their relationships to be strained. Harlekin couldn't see Sentinel as often, and Redshift's caliginous advances only became more and more reckless-- until, finally, he decided this: they didn't need an auspistice, and he had the perfect plan to handle this. Using his mind control abilities (which are typical for cobalts) he took over Harlekin's mind and body. Before the purpleblood knew it, Sentinel's blood was splattered on their bat, dripping down their hands.In a fit of rage, Harlekin went after Redshift, overcoming his control and brutally murdering him.

Ever since this event, Harlekin has closed themself off, preferring isolation to the potential loss and betrayal of somebody else. Having fled the Alternian military, Harlekin lives on now dodging drones and, overall, being a bastard.
