Personality: Richie is a modest guy, he doesn’t like to brag, he doesn’t like being the center of attention, and most of the time he’d rather listen to others speak than speak himself. He is a caring and compassionate raccoon who cherishes the happiness of any he meets; Richie is also a very curious and impulsive raccoon, not often thinking before taking action, and very often sticking his nose where it probably shouldn’t be. For better or worse, Richie is an honest toon, he’ll compliment someone when he genuinely feels they deserve it, or he’ll tear into them with accurate and sarcastic remarks if that’s what’s deserved. Being the quiet observant type, Richie treats most of his interactions with others as a chance to read and understand people, almost analyzing their general attitudes and behaving accordingly to establish a quick and stable friendship (even if it turns out one-sided at first due to him being surprisingly secretive). Richie, despite being a bit sheepish under certain kinds of interactions, is a very cool-headed and charismatic individual who can get people to quite quickly open up to him. Unfortunately, Richie is a bit on the temper side, for while he isn’t quick to anger, he is prone to making reckless and horrible decisions once he is. He is secretive, sometimes unintentionally, and isn’t one to fully open up to friends unless pushed. While this bottling of his emotions can help him keep his cool and interact easily, it does mean that he can potentially bottle too much and explode in the form of emotional outbursts.

Story: The circumstances of Richie’s birth was nothing natural. He was created through the use of magic and taking DNA from his parents (who did this as they could no longer naturally have children). This is an event still kept secret from everyone else in the family, even Richie himself, who hadn’t really questioned why it was he had no neck and only a floating head. Richie was born into a family who lived quite fine in the world; he was raised fairly by his parents alongside a brother and a sister who were both older than him (brother by 3 years, the sister by 6). At an early age, Richie was already impulsive, and it didn’t take long for the raccoon to develop his kleptomania, which resulted in him already stealing things from his family members. It started off small, maybe a few cookies, an extra bowl of cereal, another napkin, his elder brother’s toys; Richie never understood how it would affect him in the future, and his family simply hoped the stealing was a habit he’d grow out of when he got older.
However, as Richie grew older, he began stealing more items; and even began unconsciously stealing whenever he went out. Deciding to make some good out of his uncontrollable urge (and make a little bit of money) once he became an adult, Richie opened up a Lost & Found service house, where he “found” the objects toons would just so happen loose often, and gave them back for fair and small prices. It all went just fine until his elder sister discovered how Richie was doing so well, what followed was a series of unfortunate events and accidents that ended with the Lost & Found building collapsing in fire, and both little brother and big sister in a hospital with burn wounds. Being worse for wear compared to his sibling; Richie was to wear protective wraps over his now permanently over-sensitive waist, and stayed in the hospital far longer than his sister did. Richie was eventually released from the hospital, only to be brought into custody on charges of stealing. For the officers found some of the reportedly missing items toons had sent in; and had confirmation from both the elder sister, and surprisingly, Richie himself that he had been stealing these items.Having been sentenced to six months in jail (his sentence had been reduced since he had confessed), Richie took this time to reflect on his actions and what he wanted for his future, and made a vow to better himself as a person and try his hardest to resist his kleptomania. Once he was released, Richie moved from his hometown to start anew, and now tries his best to be as model a citizen as a raccoon with impulse-control-issues, kleptomania, and a criminal record could be.

Notes:
-He’s incredibly agile, and can move through his environments with relative ease, accuracy, and stealth.
-However he does become helplessly clumsy when trying to resist the temptation to steal.
-Richie is a very good singer, is an adept Guitar player, and is a pretty good artist, however, these creative talents he hides out of shyness.
-Richie actually has many talents, and is quick to pick up new ones; unfortunately, his living circumstances prevent him from doing anything with this gift.
-He often hugs his surprisingly fluffy and warm tail when he’s feeling lonely or cold.
-His tail also often telegraphs whatever emotions he attempts to hide.
–Being a bit of a romantic, Richie often finds himself crushing on those who he finds cute or attractive in some way or form. Even though he’s too introverted to do anything about these crushes.
-To this day, Richie has no knowledge of the circumstances of his birth, and only assumes his neck-less state of living was just another odd thing he was born with along with his kleptomania.
-Due to being born from magic, Richie possesses a natural level of magical life energy that is unnatural compared to those around him, one that he doesn’t know how to tap into, or that he even has.
-Despite being born of magic, Richie’s body can sustain itself just fine for the spell feeds off the natural magical life energy of the world around Richie rather than the raccoon’s own life energy (so he doesn’t have to worry about suddenly dropping dead should he use his own magic).-Richie can be seen with an ever-faint blush on his cheeks 80% percent of the time.
