Like all other guardians Malvina has no memory of her life before she took on the guardian role, and for awhile that didn't bother her, but as time went on she couldn't shake the feeling that she had forgotten something imporant and it only got worse when she took on Lisette as her apprentice and grew closer to her. Something in the back of her mind was constantly screaming at her that she was missing something, something she couldn't let go no matter how hard she tried. So one day she disappeared with no trace of her wereabouts leaving her apprentice to take up the role as guardian of the Outcats universe.
