Sample 315-0015 - 'Akira' - Handle carefully
Sentient humanoid creature. Encountered fully conscious at the entrance of the facility, perhaps abandoned, April 7th, 2012. Presumed to be incredibly tolerant to pain as it doesn't seem to be bothered by any changes the staff make to its body. Clarifications as to any assumptions are unclear however, as the specimen does not speak or demonstrate any sign of understanding.
Experiments to the sample's body include the insertion of ██████ and ████████. As a result the specimen has developed polycoria in the right eyeball. 'Akira' has also shown to be very susceptible to physical injuries, immediately developing large bruises after the slightest contact with any surface. However, these injuries appear to heal remarkably fast (broken bones; infections; large wounds). Unsure whether the healing would occur in the case of detachment of limbs.
Specimen also has been shown to display a variant under certain conditions, drastically changing its physical appearance and overall behaviour. The polycoria eye also seems to heal in this state. 315-0015.β, or simply 'Beta', appears to be more aware of its surroundings, often baring its teeth and displaying a strong sense of survival as if to threaten the staff. Could be compared to a feral canine of sorts. No experiments have been able to be performed on 'Beta' due to its dangerous nature.
In terms of nutrition, and as of now, both variants have only shown response to sweets, such as lollipops or gummies, and human flesh.
