Finding Purpose
Quinn Otero was born in Luxure to a normal family who live day to day with no purpose. As a child, she got bullied a lot for being slightly different. She was goofy and very outspoken, always saying what was on her mind even if it seemed ridiculous. No one liked that she stood out so much. As she got older, she was very hostile towards others, feeling rejected all the time and pushed down so much made her seem rather bitter. She got into fights often and was seen as reckless. Even when she wasn't doing anything, her reputation got her in trouble. Everyone blamed her for just about everything. Regardless of what others think of her, she's good-natured and a bit of a clutz, always feeling a sense of urgency to rush in if someone needs help. Even if there was no reward, she doesn't want anyone to feel left behind like how she did over and over. She eventually saves a young boy from false execution, resisting the law to save an innocent life, which resulted her in getting arrested and exiled from residing in Luxure. Her family never once asked to see if she was all right, in fact they didn't care much for her absense, and that was enough to live it all go. Now homeless with no friends or family, Quinn traveled from village to village in Noire. That is until one day two strangers get themselves in a pinch, in which Quinn comes in to the rescue and eventually tells them she wants to tag along with them. With a group, Quinn is loyal to her companions and is easily the most light-hearted, always being unintentionally comical and brash.

Laws Aren't Peacemakers
Upon saving a boy's life, where in Luxure anyone who gives birth to or protects boys are punishable by death, Quinn was spared. It was the only kindness given to her in her life, and she couldn't understand why she was even given the chance to keep living. Nevertheless, she wasn't one to question too much. Her last name, Otero, was ultimately revoked to express her exile. Now with only her maiden first name, everyone that tries to identify her will know that she is a traitor of her home region. With that being said, she has to work harder just to be seen as a individual and not a delinquent. A criminal, everyone thought, upon recognizing her. She wandered around with disapproving eyes, somehow surprised that there was even anyone who could recognize a traitor. Living as one was difficult; there were days she went without food or water. To everyone, she was a bum, just wasting time.

However, when she first meets Voleur and Alice, neither of them look at her as such. In fact, they ask her for her name and what she knew. For a moment, she felt helpful. Important, even. When they thanked her kindly and made way to leave, Quinn burst out. She wanted to know if she could be of more use, no, she persuaded them that she was. Voleur and Alice suffered from memory loss, Quinn realized. The Alice, elite member of Noire, couldn't even recognize her power. And thus, Quinn knew she just had to navigate them safely to where they needed to find answers. Perhaps she had no purse for herself, but she wanted to still say that she had one even as small as being a guide.

Voleur doesn't quite understand Quinn's actions or remarks, often getting very confused over references that Quinn may bring up. She's more calm about Quinn, usually just keeping an eye on her because she can never quite figure out what Quinn's next move is.

Though Quinn respects her enough to call her "Miss Alice," she butts heads with her very often due to their opposing personalities. Quinn easily annoys Alice on multiple occasions for her remarks and impulsive actions, thus making Alice shout at her or become irritated.
