'Sandy' Sandersonia Dellan is a half-elf engaged to a famous actor, whilst she herself is a slightly less famous actress (as it's hard for half-elves to get roles in media). 

Growing up as the child of two famous actors and naturally having a career as a child star herself, Sandy was eager to stop being typecast as she grew up but this was derailed when she blossomed into a half-elf after a botched ransom attempt, much to her anger.
