Elpis is cold and distant. Her joy was ripped from her along her motherhood, so she saw herself as nothing more than the weapon she was created to be. She trusts nobody beside Pandora, and spends most of her time alone. Despite her unapproachable nature, she is an excellent and protective mother.

After the war, Elpis lived in Sanctuary, isolating herself from everyone. One day, Pandora brought her a young orphan for her to care for, hoping it would cheer her up. It worked wonderfully, and Elpis named the child Orion, caring for him like he was her own child. Due to his blindness, she was overprotective of him, although began to be a little more open to the world.

Over the years, she stayed in Sanctuary, raising various orphans, a mother to all. Many rumours were spread about her along with the legendary Pandora, but she never confirmed nor denied any.
