i think she modifies either ur brain or ur soul beaty comes from w/in etc etc. like literally. most of the body lives inside the host but a part sticks out like a cute little mole. its considered attractive in society. 

the neurochemical changes it causes are something like a sharpening of the person's sense of aesthetics, being more adept at social navigation, and oddly enough a tendency to be someone more compassionate. the parasite also, on occasion, incurs physical changes like longer lashes or more elaborate eye patterns. 

i forgot the rest of the details i also just know that patapons aren't the whole of its life cycle, but only a part of it, like a secondary host. if you leave it in for too long, you start to get a savior complex, after getting hyped by the admiration/compliments u receive, and u start to dream of making something bigger and grander than urself...
