Aspen Karakum's Links
Altair is Aspen's father. He's a lot like him, albeit braver and more confident in himself. He loves him, and is always happy to jump to his defense, but that doesn't mean that he respects his decisions all the time. He thinks he's a bit spineless, and wishes he was a bit bolder.
Aspen is the child that Altair gets along with the best. He's the quietest and the most obedient. He has a mellow personality, and he is the most confident in his ability to guide him. He adores him, and will support him no matter what as is the same with all of his children.
Aspen is the closest friend Kael has. He is inexperienced and somewhat of a mess, but he is pleasant to be around, and that's not really something Kael's said about someone before. He has helped Kael adjust to living in a world where he is just... normal.
August was always too hard on Aspen, and he resents that. He loves her, since she's his mother, but he almost fears her more than respects her for her actions and opinions. She's still his mother no matter what, and if she needed anything, he'd return to her in an instant.
August always worries about her son Aspen, afraid that his too-gentle personality will lead to him getting hurt. But the further he gets into aulthood, the more she has begun to calm down and trust him a little. She loves him dearly.
Merrien is Aspen's closest friend, and always was throughout their youth and adulthood. He was always there in his hardest times, and is forever grateful. If he ever needed anything, he'd be there to back him up at once. He checks in on him regularly and likes to travel with him. He thinks that he brings out the best in him.
Aspen is the sibling Merrien gets along with the best. Neither of them feel the need to take charge, so they work well together and usually just take it easy. They both travel so they often have lots to talk about. He's very easy to be around.
Aspen and Argum never really saw eye to eye, and they never were the closest with each other. They've always had different opinions, different interests, and different skills. He never felt that he had to compete with her, but he was also never able to really relate.
Argum always admired Aspen for his willingness to stand up to their mother. She often felt bolstered because of his boldness. They're not close, but Argum loves her brother dearly and would hunt anyone who hurt him.
Marquis is intimidating, and he and Aspen argued a bit as children. They grow closer throughout their lives, but never quite see eye to eye. When they split ways, he can't say that he misses their time together or their past conflicts.
Aspen is a whole lot like his dad, who is a bit of a coward in his eyes. He was never energetic, daring, or confident growing up, though that's changed as he's gotten older. He's proud of his "little" brother, and wishes they were closer. He's too afraid to try to improve their relationship now since they're so distant.
Trym is going to make an incredible Chief someday. He is selfless, kind, and thoughtful. He has all of the traits that Aspen believes will make a good leader, even if he is... perhaps a touch too trusting sometimes for his own good.
Lellion is interesting, energetic, and brimming with a fire that Aspen cannot help but find incredibly attractive. They've developed an undeniable bond through their shared hardships and they are both learning how to love in their own way.
