Prompt: A good party is one where everyone involved is having a good time, Charmer thinks to himself one day as he watches the circus he's a part of go about their acts, filling the watching crowd with awe. The circus tent has always been a place of wonder, as long as Charm has been a part of it - and probably even before, too. Still, there's something magical about Charm's specific job. He sees the fire breather below send another jet of flame into the air and remembers he has actual things he has to help out with. A snap of furred fingers, a few whispered words, and the flame takes on a brilliant green light. He hears the crowd ooo and aah at his work and has to smile. Just a simple piece of magic, but oh so effective on those who haven't seen such things before.

Does the circus count as a party? To Charmer, it does. After all, what is a party but a gathering of people in a place and a celebration of something good? Something magnificent, even if small, is worth a party. And something big, like the circus coming to town, heralds an even bigger party. When children laugh in joy at the many acts of the circus, lit just right by Charmer's illusion magic, he knows he has done well. When he times his light and color changes to what the others are doing, he is proud of his work. And when he jumps to the top of the circus tent after a long night, he looks up to the stars and laughs.

A good party has a lot of moving parts. Charmer knows a good one means that people don't notice all the things that take place behind the scenes, it's so seamless. So he does his quiet craft, and is so, so glad he can help cheer people up in his own, wonderful way.
