Uurien is the current royal scientist in Jurrica.
 She was appointed by [The Empress] herself to act as Askyr's apprentice and aid in his research, though Askyr's untimely death and the destruction of much of his secretive work has prompted her to establish her own method of running things.

Appearance 

Not especially attractive, pale skinned.

Her left eye is gradually being affected by a cataract. Larger eyes, definitive limbal ring. Light maroon color.

Dull grey-cream hair, straight, medium thickness, slightly glossy.

Attire

Standard upper-class Quanix attire with the occasional different due to her own tastes or occupation. She almost always wears her glasses.

Glasses: Specially crafted lenses that appear to be a hybrid of glasses and goggles, partially due to working around the quanix ear shape. Amber tint, carefully crafted magnifying lenses attached to them. Likely a restoration of something she or someone else found.

Personality

Serious, secretive, curious, collected, organized, favors logic to emotion, fact to fiction, likes to be in charge, somewhat controlling.

An outlier, as these scientist folks tend to be. Easily frustrates those who have to work with her. 

Seems to not favor either flight or fight if shit hits the fan, and tends to more often override the instinct and come to her senses to make her own decision, or go with whatever those who are with her settle on.

Self Conscious About Her Vision and Eyes: It seems that she was cursed from birth to never view the world as a quanix should; color blind, nearsighted, and now losing her vision in one eye, she fears the worst will one day come and completely hamper her pursuit of lost knowledge. She hates being reminded of her faulty vision, but even more so being a helpless witness to her eventual loss of vision, to the point of despising her own reflection when not wearing her tinted glasses. 

Voice and Dialogue

A bit annoying in tone, ungraceful, grating, though not to the point of extremes.

Tends to use fancier terms, though never in a poetic, pretty sort of way.

Appointed as Askyr's assistant, though she was mostly ignored by him.. tries to learn anyway... was given control after his death, left to pick up the pieces... After the Empress died she had some trouble keeping up with her research... hires an assistant of her own, Varris to help shortly before Q's nonsense...

Author's notes

• Uurien has the tendency to annoy the other characters involved with her, as evident by the countless characters, Quanix or not, that have had to deal with her shit in multiple RPs.
• In my second playthrough of Miitopia, Uurien played the role of a stubborn scientist.

Art

• Urien tends to appear rather serious and somewhat stoic, especially considering that her eyes are hidden behind the glasses. She is also meant to be somewhat unattractive.
