Mica

Her Story

Mica's father was a fae Lord, her mother a shifter from the Wilds skirting Avalon. They had a hidden affair until the twins were born, doing their best to raise the children in secret until the King learned of them. Their father was given two options, kill the half breed bastard children, or banish the hardly month old children to Avalon and be able to keep their mother as a servant.
It was with a heavy heart that he banished the children, being sure they would be found by those of the Ironcourt by way of a note sent by raven. It was there that Mica and her twin brother, Deimos, were adopted by another banished fae, Velvet Beauty, and his husband Alexander who was a vampire.
They raised the pair as best they could in near poverty, Velvet working in a steel mill, Alex working nights at clubs to keep a stable income and be able to have somebody at home to be with them without relying on daycare services.
By the time she was school aged, Mica had learned basic glamours to cover her fae heritage. Her brother struggled with hiding his ears and tail, but they both mastered it well enough to go to public school.
In her highschool years, Mica had a bit of a crush on one of the boys in her class, a human who she had foolishly trusted to share her secret. He called her a freak, and the members of Ironcourt were on edge for weeks watching for hunters... It was too dangerous to stay in public school, the pair dropped out to continue homeschooling after the prom.
When she was eighteen, Mica picked up a job at the club Alex worked at, dancing to earn what she could to help with the family and others in the building that struggled with getting jobs Ironside. Since then she has earned her promotion from dancer to manager.

Strengths

-Mica is very flexible and agile.
-She has a quick mind and sharper wit.

Weaknesses

-Iron. It will burn her wherever it touches, not as bad as a full blooded fae, but it still hurts like hell. If iron gets into her blood, or breaks the skin, she can get ironsick.
